I am pleased to share an article I wrote for Downbeat magazine, appearing in the September 2018 issue, about re-harmonization techniques. The article begins on page 86: http://www.downbeat.com/digitaledition/2018/DB1809/_art/DB1809.pdf

Bruce Dudley became a Steinway Concert Artist in September 2016. "I am honored and proud to be affiliated with the world's finest pianists and the world's finest piano maker. Steinway pianos offer the warmest and most intimate tone, as well as an incredibly wide range of colors at all dynamic levels. I find that Steinway pianos transmit the music I play better that any other piano."
I have partnered with Phineas Newborn III and the Estate of Phineas Newborn Jr. to publish note-for-note transcriptions of the incredible jazz pianist Phineas Newborn Jr. Please visit http://phineasnewbornjr.org to learn more about these transcriptions!
